    Standart Competency         :

1.      To describe the structure of atoms, periodic properties of elements, and chemical                  bonding, molecular structure and their properties.

    Basic Competency            

1.1.To identify atoms, atomic structure, properties of elements, relative atomic mass and   the periodic properties of the periodic table, and implication in SETS context.

    Indicators of competency achievement                          

     1.1.1. To compare the development of the periodic table through library study.

     1.1.2. To determine the class and period elements in the periodic table.

     1.1.3. To determine the atomic structure based on the periodic table.

Teacher create the religius class with greetings, pray together before learning activities, and presence of student. Student answer the greetings from teacher and pray together with fully religius. 1 minute
Apperception : Teacher asked to students to brainstorm on the previous knowledge learnt on the definition of atoms, structure of atoms, their classification, and properties based on the periodic table.

Teacher assigned one of student to answer the equation.

Teacher gives the purpose of the learning activities in this meeting communicatively. Students are gave an ear carefully the purpose which gives. 1 minutes

Elaborasi 1.    Planning Cooperative

Choose the topic :

In this section, teacher is divide students into some groups with the member each group is 4 students,  each member would be assigned to join discussion on the following topics : (a) Development of the periodic table, (b) Class and the period elements in the periodic table, (c)    Implication of this material in the SETS context, (dJob which can be developed based on atoms properties.

Then the student is discusse with their group. Each group is planning the discusse, problems solving, arrange problems, and the problems solution. What are with the summary or do the tasks before.

2.    Analyze and Synthesis

Students are beaten out and make a summary (main points) about topics which will be presents.

3.    Results presentation

Each group presentation and share the results of discussion with responsible.

Confirmation Teacher as a fasilitator when the presentation going on, justified if there are fault in the materials was   delivered by a group, teacher asks each group to evaluate the concept presentation of another and give comment on it, also gives a confirmation competency has delivered before.

Teacher will guide the student on concluding the course of activities following the main course of the discussion by providing some relevant questions on the properties  of atoms, structure atoms based on periodic table, their classification and properties based on the periodic table communicatively and correctness. Students together with students make a conclussion about the learning activities has doing communicatively. 5 minutes
Teacher asks student to clean up and collect the works of concept maps produced by the individual group

Teacher gives homework to students for deepen the materials.

Student write the tasks which gives by teacher for homework. 4 minutes
Teacher give notice the materials will be discusse in the next meeting communicatively. Student gave an ear correctly.
Teacher clossing the class with greetings. Students answer the greetings from teacher with religius. 1 minutes

1.      Testing on the student understanding on the concepts of atoms, types of structures atom based on periodic table, valence of electrons, electrons configurations, and proton, neutron, electron based on system periodic table.

2.      Can determined the amount of proton, electron, and neutron based on atomic number and mass number or conversely they write on a paper and direct answer by mouth.

Observe the student expression and comments when they are shown with
